Published gate fees are account-based — pricing depends on stream, tonnage and regularity, and we’d rather quote you properly than print a number with asterisks. [OWNER-CONFIRM published gate-fee table] First visit: call ahead and we’ll have you over the weighbridge in minutes.
House rules at the gate.
- Carrier licence required — upper or lower tier; bring it on first visit and we keep a copy on account
- Asbestos loads pre-booked, double-wrapped, consignment note in hand (we can raise it with you)
- All loads over the weighbridge — your ticket is your record, useful for SEPA/EA returns and client reporting
- Open Mon–Fri Mon–Fri 07:30–16:30 — outside hours by arrangement for contract customers
- No POPs upholstery, tyres, gas bottles, liquids or clinical waste in mixed loads
Tipping questions.
Can I tip without an account?
Yes — cash/card visitors with a carrier licence are welcome; call ahead so we can confirm the stream and rate. Accounts make sense from your second visit: faster gate, monthly invoice, better rates.
Why tip here rather than further afield?
Distance is money in this game. We’re 25–40 minutes from most of Sussex, the asbestos facility saves contractors the run to out-of-county sites, and the weighbridge ticket gives your clients clean evidence of lawful disposal.
Do you take fibrous asbestos?
Bonded, double-wrapped asbestos with consignment paperwork — yes, pre-booked. Loose fibrous material is licensed-removal territory and travels under different controls; call us and we’ll route it correctly rather than turn you away at the gate.
